The Rue Observer is written and run by a fellow by the name of Josh. He gets the majority of his material from debates and general conversations with his circle of friends or just random people. If you let him tell it, he's the nicest, most considerate person on the planet. Which is why he has such an issue with his friends and even those that don't know him as well for calling him an asshole and all other synonymous terms.
